Art exhibition by Pernilla Backman at Roasberg 4-30.9.2017.

This exhibition plays with the aspect of finding oneself walking on a path in the forest of one’s personal universe through a mystical mist, not knowing what’s waiting on the other side.

The exhibition tells a personal tale of a nomadic way of searching for something meaningful and the recklessness of not wanting to stay in the same place (mentally or physically) for the rest of one’s life.

The paintings have elements of spiritualism, mysticism and melancholy with a twist of stubborness and determination.

Knowing that the road to wholeness is not always the easiest way to evolve, but trusting that it’s gonna be worth it in the end.
